Anita graduated from University of Portsmouth with a BA in Fine Art in 2000.
While at the University of Portsmouth, Anita studied under Matthew Higgs, director of White Columns, New York, Jeremy Deller (winner of The Turner Prize) and Jemima Stehli.
She has also worked with Michael Newberry.
Born in Kenya, she has traveled extensively, living in many countries, and is currently living in the Middle East where her current work reflects how her life has been impacted by the culture.
Anita is drawn to the play of light, whether in landscape, still life or interiors.
