| When I was working on this piece I was struck by the structure of peppers. There are neat sections that fit together to make a whole. This particular pepper had clear divisions making the segments far more singular than normal. As I worked I found myself concentrating on each section separately rather than on the whole piece. Though linked by similar colours, each one has subtle changes in colour that differ in each section. I love the contrast of the acid greens to the cool blues and the warm oranges. | |
