| For many months we lived in a hotel in Washington, our small room becoming our new world. Despite having the freedom to wander outside freely there were many days when we were reminded of the confining existence we had lived in the Middle East. Once again our view was limited to what we could see from one window and we watched the changing seasons as they fell across the street. | |
